Okay, but who am I really?

Let's be honest: software engineers are everywhere and I'm just one of a dozen you've looked at today alone. I won't lie and say I'm the absolute best you'll hire. I'm not. But that humility is what allows me to grow, and, contradictorily, is what sets me apart from many others. So who is this man behind the keyboard? I'm me. I'm the me today, but I won't be the me today, tomorrow. I'm always growing. Always learning. Always pressured by the Next Big Challenge. My mantra in both my work and personal life is to "be the best me I can be". I’ve made mistakes, and I’ll make more. That’s how growth works.I believe in making quality products that provide superior user experiences. I know, I know; that's cliché. But hear me out. I'm a backend, middleware, and solutions-oriented engineer. Frontend development has never been my forté—I lack the aesthetic eye—but I embrace a holistic approach. Frontend empowers backend. Backend drives frontend. Middleware blends the two into a tasty software smoothie.Details matter. I care enough to use the proper accents in “forté” and “cliché” and insert em dashes where they belong in my copy—even if you didn’t consciously notice.Culturally, I speak truth to power. I’m not a “yes man.” I challenge norms, lead by example, and reject fear-driven environments. Nobody wins in a situation where flaws and alternative solutions are not openly discussed equally at all levels. If you can't embrace that, then we're not a good fit. But if you're looking for someone with a fresh set of eyes and (too) many years of experience to draw upon to challenge the status quo and disrupt with purpose? We should talk.So. That's me.
